For us, it’s about more than putting our name on the sand. It’s about backing the next generation of lifesavers and the families, volunteers and communities that make surf lifesaving such an important part of Queensland.
Through the partnership, we’ll support more than 12,000 young lifesavers across 58 surf clubs, helping to deliver water and beach safety education, youth leadership, athlete development, training and equipment.
SLSQ’s premier youth event will also carry our name, becoming the Symal Surf Life Saving Queensland Youth State Championships.
From Little Lifesavers and Nippers through to emerging elite athletes, the partnership will support young people at every stage of their journey. We’re also backing SLSQ’s Youth Excellence Program and youth leadership funding, helping young lifesavers build the skills and confidence to move from Nippers into active patrolling roles.
